Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 1992 gives individuals, corporations and businesses the right to apply for access to documents held by Public Sector agencies, including Local Government Authorities.
Under Part 5 of the Freedom of Information Act 1992 (“FOI Act”), the Shire of Kellerberrin is required to prepare and publish an annual Information Statement.
How to Apply
A Freedom of Information application must be submitted in writing on the application form below.
This document can be provided in alternative formats upon request.
Forms can be submitted to the Shire via email or hand delivered to the Shire Administration Office at 110 Massingham Street, Kellerberrin WA 6410.
Further information can be provided, Monday to Friday (8:15am – 4:30pm) at the Shire Administration Office, or please contact the Shire Administration Office during normal business hours on (08) 9045 4006.
Timeframe
In line with the Freedom of Information Act 1992, the Shire of Kellerberrin must complete all applications within 45 days from receipt of a valid application.
This time frame may be extended under an agreement between the Shire and the Applicant.
