The Gym is owned and operated by the Shire of Kellerberrin. Equipment includes, treadmills, exercise bikes, rower, shoulder press, leg press, dumbbells, multi adjustable benches, fitness balls and hoops.

New members will need to complete a membership form and pay a bond of $50.00 for the swipe card for access to the gym.
This bond is refundable once card has been returned to the Shire Administration Office.
Terms & Conditions
The recipient of this agreement hereby applies for membership to the Kellerberrin Gymnasium, owned and operated by the Shire of Kellerberrin, located at Kellerberrin Recreation & Leisure Centre, Connelly Street, Kellerberrin, Western Australia. In consideration of the Shire accepting the membership, I agree to the following terms and conditions:
- All users to access the gymnasium must obtain their own swipe card (excluding children 16 and under) from the Shire Office during office hours. This card will be programmed into the system for your personal use only. Distribution of card to family members, friends or other people will result in the cancellation of your card and gym membership. If your card is lost or stolen please notify the Shire immediately and the card will be cancelled.
- Members understand and acknowledge that the Kellerberrin Gymnasium is an unsupervised centre and no employee is present to help or assist in the use of equipment. Members acknowledge that they will not hold the Shire responsible for any personal injury or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential suffered by members or loss of property by members while on the premises or arising in any way out of the use of the facility and equipment provided.
- The Shire strongly urges that users seek advice from either their Doctor, Physiotherapist or qualified Personal Trainer to set programs. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure they are in good physical condition. Members must not use the facility if suffering from any illness, disease, injury or other condition that could be a risk to their health or safety or that of others. If unsure, members should not use the facility until they have sought appropriate medical guidance and been given the go-ahead.
- Members must wear safe fully enclosed footwear & suitable clothing (no bare feet or thongs allowed). Members must use an individual towel at all times whilst exercising and leave equipment clean and tidy.
- Members are to ensure the Gym is kept clean at all times. Members are expected to clean/pack away equipment after use and it is the responsibility of the member to return all equipment to its place of storage.
- Members are to use the facility safely and correctly. Please ensure the utmost care is taken in the Gym, and with the equipment provided. Please immediately report any defective and/or damaged equipment to the Shire.
- If members behave in a risky or seriously inappropriate way e.g. threaten or harass others, or damage equipment, appropriate action will be taken. Membership may be immediately cancelled. If a members conduct causes the Shire or another person costs, loss or damages the member agrees to pay for these.
- Members must scan membership card upon entry, after entering the door mechanism will automatically lock. To leave the venue press the button on the right of the door. On exiting the Gym please ensure the door is locked, air conditioner, fans and lights are off. Remember, you enter at your own risk.
- Â No person 12 years or under shall be permitted into the Kellerberrin Gymnasium. Children 13 to 16 years old, who are members, must be supervised by an adult 18 years or over at all times. All persons supervising anyone less than 16 years of age must be a Gym member.
- Members may terminate the agreement by returning their swipe card to the Shire of Kellerberrin Administration Office. Should the membership agreement be terminated by the Shire of Kellerberrin, the member will receive written notification.
- The Shire is under no obligation to refund the membership fees if the member changes their mind. In the event of exceptional circumstance consideration may be given for a refund (pro rata) on written request.
- Please be advised that the hours of operation are seven days a week, 4am to 10pm.
- Please be advised that the Kellerberrin Gymnasium is under surveillance for security purposes only.
