Swimming Pool Redevelopment

Ready to Dive in!

The Shire has commenced working on a brief for the Kellerberrin Memorial Swimming Pool Redevelopment. While we are still in the early phases of the process, we’re welcoming community comment.

The draft masterplan has been workshopped with consultants, shire officers and councillors.

Did you know?

  • the Kellerberrin & District Memorial Swimming Pool was officially opened on 3rd December 1960
  • a master plan is a “best case” scenario and can be scaled and modified
  • project funding is being sought through federal and state grants
  • the Shire has $1,246,252 currently in a swimming pool reserve
  • the community’s views are welcome, particularly around priorities and facilities
  • when funding support is achieved the  Shire will carry out further community consultation before the plans are finalised
