CALLING FOR NOMINATIONS!
Nominations for the 2023 Australia Day Awards are now open . Australia Day is a time to celebrate our nation and to recognise /honor an individual or a group who has achieved some great things in the last twelve (12) months, we encourage you to nominate them and recognise their outstanding achievement! The Awards will be presented as part of Councils 2023 Australia Day event to be held on Thursday, 26 January 2023.
Nominations close 4:00pm, Wednesday 30th November 2022
Nominations through Auspire for the Community Citizen of the Year Awards can be completed online or by downloading the nomination form – simply tick the category you wish to nominate in the top left hand corner or collect at the Shire Administration Office.
The Award categories include:
- Community Citizen of the Year
- Young Community Citizen of the Year
- Senior Community Citizen of the Year
- Active Citizenship (group or event)
Outstanding contribution and community service for the Auspire Awards includes areas such as education, health, fund-raising, charitable and voluntary services, business, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of our community.
