Our Mission

To become an integral, high quality component of the integrated health services of the wheatbelt and through this, help raise the health status of Australians to equal the best in the world.

Services Provided

Kellerberrin Health Service provides the following services to the community of Kellerberrin and surrounding Districts.

Accident & Emergency/Outpatient Care

• 24 hour service staffed by a Registered Nurse(s) with a medical officer on call.
• Essential resuscitation equipment and drugs available
• Emergency evacuations (RFDS)
• Routine outpatient treatments including booked minor surgical procedures

Acute Inpatient Care

• Minor surgical
• Medical
• Pediatric
• Post surgery rehabilitation

Obstetrics

• Routine pre and post natal care

Gastro-enterology

• Monthly specialist gastro-enterologist visit
• Colonoscopy, endoscopy and related procedures attended. This service is utilized by Wheatbelt Communities.

Continuing Care Services

• Inpatient nursing home patients
• Palliative Care Unit – dedicated family orientated unit
• Hospital respite

Home & Community Care Services (HACC)

• Home Nursing
• Home Cleaning
• Home Gardening
• Transport (Weekly Shopper Bus)
• Equipment hire

Allied Health Services

• Physiotherapy - bi weekly clinic
• Occupational Health - weekly
• Speech Therapy - weekly
• Dietitian - monthly clinic
• Podiatry
• Mental Health - available on request
• Pathology - daily service from Merredin
• Radiology - restricted x-rays attended
